It is such a difficult time right now in the world. Some of us are emerging from COVID-19 and restarting our lives. Some of us are still in the midst of it. Some are arguing for vaccines and others against them. Both sides think they are right.

Black Lives Matter and the Thin Blue Line appear to clash, but do they really? What are the various opinions that conflict, but more importantly, where can we meet in the middle and find consensus?

Religion also causes separation instead of what we would expect…closeness and compassion. No religion that I'm aware of appears to be free from causing separation in some form or another.

I'd like to see this changed. One of my favorite quotes is from Alistair Begg. "The main things are the plain things." This quote speaks to the desire to find common ground where we can. Will you join me?
